In this intermediate Dressmaking class students will be introduced to the domestic sewing machine., correct measuring of the body, preparation of fabric, layouts & cutting procedures, and construction of a Dress garments.

How to take accurate body measurements
How to cut a dress with a sewing pattern
How to Attach neckline facing and apply understitching to neckline facing.

How to do an alteration of your garment for proper fit
How to baste, hem, sew up seams and more

INTERMEDIATE DRESSMAKING CLASS
Sewing machines and basic supplies will be provided. The student may need to bring Pen and paper (for the beginning of the class).
(Plus $5.00 for 1-yard of interface (Interfacing is needed for the skirt ).
